Our 3 month old dog died today  

Oh I am so sorry to hear about your loss that would have been a very hard thing to go out and find her like that! That is why I would never leave my dog's tired up to anything coz its so easy for this to happen.....And yes I would be totally heart broken too if it was one of my babies.

well thats too sad,dont get too sad ,after all ,it has to die anyways..and what a way of dying to be strangled to death,an accident death..is there no one around that dog before its death...well my dong also died when i was 12 yrs old,he was eaten by a wolf i thing..when i woke in mornin i saw his separated body parts with blood all over the ground near in my near forest...it was more heart breakin than your dog was....his body all torn apart!!i just cant say it

I know what you mean.
My dog died 3 years ago, I had her for 10 years.
I let her out one morning and waiting for her to come back in
and she never did.
I looked for her and found her dead,
I always wonder, if I didn't let her go outside would she still have died.

I am so sorry for your loss, I know how devastating it is to lose an animal companion. My best friend had lost a cat in a similar manner. These types pf accidents are heartbreaking and it is easy to be overcome by feelings of guilt but you know you never intended this to happen and if you thought such a thing was possible you would not have had her on her leash there. The best thing you can do to honor Nana's memory is take steps to prevent this accident from happening again to anybody else. I am so sorry that you've lost your puppy. Your other pets are probably grieving the loss too, they are effected as badly as we are when a loved one dies.
