When I was 10, I always thought of myself as a writer. I would write poems, novels and essays for fun, hoping that one day I will be able to publish a book and become known because of what I wrote and because of how the public felt when they read the things that I put in.
I did not get any support from my family about what I wanted to do in life. They told me that I can still pursue my dreams after I am established and settled with my life and career. I guess they're right. It's not easy being a writer, you have to spend for all sorts of things and look for a very supportive publisher who is willing to take you and your masterpieces in.
That's why, when I saw this opportunity in MyLot, I grabbed it. Hoping that maybe one day, someone will see the potential I have in writing and actually offer to show it to the whole world.
I know before that could ever happen I have to study real hard, to learn different words and know how to use them, also the grammar, the different formats and figures of speech that I can apply to the things I write.
Its like being in kindergarten, that feeling when you act as if you know everything when you're actually ignorant of the things that are happening and the things you are doing.
But does that change the fact that I JUST WANT TO WRITE. I just want to share with the whole world of the things that I've seen and experienced in life and probably more.
I am afraid that maybe one day I will never be able to fulfill the things I planned as a kid. Sometimes my plans then made more sense with the ones I have now. In the end I just want to get all those plans started before its too late.

You have had your ambition from a young age, and it is a shame you got no support from your family, but that is the sad thing, sometimes families just think they know best and put us off the ideas we have for ourselves.
I am not sure that myLot is the place to be noticed for writing talents but there are lots of writing places about that you could submit writing too. I really think that if this is a burning ambition in you, then you should just do it, because time goes quick and before you know it it will be gone, so just do it and good luck!!

mylot might not be the best place to have a writing career but its a good place to start. I am still ignorant with online writing, where to go and where to submit my writings. I am glad that I can ask for advice here on mylot, a lot of people are willing to share what they know and where they go, where they submit their articles and stories.

Mylot would be a really good for you then if you want to write. To tell you the truth you are good writer. Just do what you love to do. As for me, I also like to be a writer someday, but i still need to learn more.
