A few days ago I have chanced to read some short stories of Jhumpa Lahiri and also of O.Henry. O.Henry has always been my favorite. Jhumpa's stories does not touch me although there are substances for man and men like us. I miss there something, probably life is there 'let it be as it be'. And I definitely miss the depth of O.Henry that penetrates my heart and cerebral and take me to a different territory from where I am asked to view life. Again I am an ardent reader of D.H.Lawrence's novels.
What is your choice please - a short story or a novel ?

i love reading both..
i make it to a point to read a short story
at least once a day.
but when i have time,i read novels..
they are classic..
you learn a lot from them..
though it requires a lot of patience to read,
once your hook with the story,
you'll never put down the book until your finished..

I used to prefer novels since short stories are not detailed. However, since I got a computer, I lost my interest for novels, which is too long to read. Also, I have already found it more interesing to watch a movie.
