The Doors: Incredible Artists

I agree with you, but I wouldn't say that's my favorite song. I love all the Doors music and it's so hard to pick a favorite. The End is one of my favorites, as well as Unknown Soldier. Riders on the Storm is really good. Their songs are all filled with remarkable poetry.

The Doors are undoubtedly my favorite band. My collection includes all of their studio albums except for their attempt at one after the death of Jim Morrison, and almost all of their live recordings.

Try as I might, I can never pick one of their songs that I like better than the rest. This is due to their variation in their sound from album to album. The debut album "The Doors" was dark and edgy, full of raw unrefined talent.

On their next album, "Strange Days", I felt the Doors refined their sound from the first album, but I felt that it lost some of the energy and power of their first album.

Their third album, "Waiting for the Sun", is the least critically aclaimed because critics often say that it was made just to sell and sound right for the time. I thought people often brushed it off, and did not give this album a fair chance. This album sounded more like pop than their previous albums.

The Soft Parade was their least popular album. Many people felt that this album did not represent the Doors. This was due to the addition of orchestra sounds added to songs.

Morrison Hotel is a great album. It pleased fans with its more rock and blues sounds.

LA Women is a return to the basics for the Doors, full of emotion and blues. Unfortunately it was their last album with lead singer Jim Morrison.
