How many miles do you put on your car in a year?

We only put on about 10,000-15,000 miles a year on our vehicle. We live right in the center of town. My kids schools and my husband's job are within walking distance (though we often drive)of our home. We often meet the "3 months" before the "3,000 miles" for our oil change. We also don't travel too far to visit family anymore. Gas prices have kept us home more often now.
We used to put on a lot more.
How about you? How many miles do you put on your car in a year?

girl, i hate to even tell you this then u are going to know what a dull life i lead,lol, but i love it. i bought my jeep in 2004. it had about 17,000 miles on it & i don't have but 30,000 now. i really get around, don't i ???

i sure do, thank the good lord. i have a grandaughter to but she's still too little to get into much. she's a cutie to. i'm ot predujuice now.lol

On the week days I drive my car to work and back (5 miles) So as you can see my car does not go too. far. At the same time it is a 1985 Ford LTD wagon so it very well may not make it much further than that. :)

I lived in central indiana all my life. Just this year did we move out of state. I little easier on the cars.

We've had our car for 2 years and when we got it it had 17,000 miles on it and we are at 32,000 now. We've really slowed down our travels with the gas prices and well at the moment a lot of stations have no gas. My husband changes the oil in the vehicles here unless he gets to busy then he takes them in.

I can say in a year we run our vihecle for more than 15,000 miles a year, because my hubby work is so far & need a car even my work too. but of course we keep our car oil change every 2 months, here in kuwait gasoline is cheap like not other country that so expensive.

well i have not mine car yet. but when i will buy one for myself then i will travell near about the 1000 miles a year or even more if i got the job of traveeling

Hi ya rocketj1
Well I have only had my car since May this year and I have managed to put just over 3,000 miles on the clock. We did a fair bit of travelling during the school summer holidays and the rest of the time I use it to take my kids to school in if it is raining as they are just down the road and also I go to do my shopping in it and the supermarket is 12 miles away.
