I made fried pork chops, sweet corn, and home made mashed potatoes. When you make mashed potatoes, do you use the one in the box or do you get some real potatoes? I cannot use the fake stuff, it is such a different texture and taste to it. My children love my mashed potatoes. Okay, just thought i'd share that with ya! take care and God Bless

That sounds like a great meal, Linda4ualways. I prefer making my mashed potatoes from real potatoes, but I admit that I sometimes use the fake ones. They are not as good and the texture is yuck, but my family doesn't seem to know the difference so I use them for convience once in a while.

Thas sound delicious Linda, I have packet potato in what I cxall my emergency provisons cupboard but it is there only for emergency as I don't like but I lovev mashed potato made with lots of butter and a little mil and creamed really well so nice and smooth. I would have to have apple sauce in addition to the pork chop but that is the sort of meal I would dish up too as my son just loves sweetcorn. Huggles. Ellie :D

Hi linda! Sounds like a perfectly yummy meal! I love fried
pork chops and corn and mashed potatoes! I make my own
mashed potatoes too. I just can't stand the ones in the
box either. There's just somethings that you just can't
get out of a box and that is mashed potatoes. I have tried
to like the box stuff, but no way. So I now am hungry and
I do have the potatoes, but nothing to go with them! Oh,
yeah I have the corn! I'm sure your family loved the meal!

MMMMM Now I'm hungry! I use only real potaoes but a friend of mine did introduce me to some one time that I think were called "Idohoan potato pearls". THey were pretty close to tasting real. But for me I stick with the real McCoy! So what's for dinner tonight?
