The Wire snubbed at Emmys :(

It seems The Emmys were primarily centered around 'Most Popular' or 'Favourite' shows and not actually the 'Best' or 'Greatest'. I'm disappointed because The Wire is one of the best, if not THE best TV show I have ever seen. Powerful, realistic, well-written, wonderfully complex and not just another cop drama. It definitely deserved the recognition and I'm disappointed it was snubbed. Care to discuss your thoughts?
