I write poetry and am considered as quite a good poet. Though my poetry is difficult and some might say strange, weird and even not pretty. I love having it sound a bit strange really. So what poetry do you like? Sweet, light poetry that everyone understand or you like a bit of brainstorming when reading a certain poem?

Well...light reading is nice.Nature poets-Frost, Wordsworth. What about Longfellow also with his moralizing. Brainstorming is nice, but trying to understand the context of the poem if you come from a different background is difficult. In spite of the claim that poetry is universal, some are located in a very cultural specific context. Give me light light poetry any day. No time to stand and stare...to watch

I love that kind of poetry. It realy reminds me of T.S Elliot and his extremly hard to understnad poetry that seems awkward on the surface. I would love to read some of your poetry if possible.

Hi, Im glad you posted.
the problem with my poetry is it is not in English language :( I did some translating but the poems could never sound that good in english and keep the same meaning, mainly due o my lack of knowledge of the language itself. I'll post some that are at least semi good.
Oh, I havent read Elliots work in ages, I think I might do that again, now that I was reminded of him again. Thank you!
