Does the school you attend really make a difference? i see a lot of people in the higher strata of society who have actually gone to a Governemnt school or to a village school and are doing well. it has not been a hinderence to them in anyway. I also see a lot of people who have gone to the best of schools and have done poorly in life. Does your school really make a difference or is it yoru personality developed at home which counts.

On some level it does make a difference. Depending on what school you go to depends on the quality of education you receive, what they teach, as well as the connection you make. For example, my husband went to public school (non-college prep) and can't do things like write a resume.

Once you get a regular job,you forget how to write a resume.:-)It is not just writing a resume, but also doing the right things in life to progress.

That was just my example. There is more to it than that though. Basic skills get you a long way in life and if you don't have them, you won't go far regardless of how much drive you have.
I don't believe anyone forgets how to write a resume if they were taught properly. You may be rusty and need to find out what new styles are being used. I have been out of high school almost 12 years and still write a strong resume.

a lot of it just depends on the persons drive to succeed but i do think that the opportunity the better the chances in the end.. so a school with better classes and more quality teachers i think will in the end produce better students..
