Like a keyboardist. No, not the types of Mozart's or Schumanns' or Beethoven's. The hopes of such superb performances will never cross my little fingers. I had my little recital in a humanities class doing Right Here Waiting just for the sake of not singing at class, and I liked it! Maybe if I played like those of Daniel Powter's, or Cat Power's, or Regina Spektor's, it will do. Though not the classics, least it's currently pleasing to the ears.
Or maybe a chef. Like Nigella Lawson's comfy recipes. No, I wouldn't want to have my own tv show, I'm no telegenic! I'd like to have my own little cozy bistro up in busy streets. Hmm, busy streets? Why busy streets? I'll dig into the reason later... Besides, for now, only in the kitchen at L.U. can I do my cooking prowess. Hehe!
Or a web designer! Goodness sakes, how I badly wanted to do layouting for websites! I only have amateurish practices of html codes for this one doing copy-pastes and edits on codes. I want to have professional backgrounds on it, so I can do work-at-home, in case. Haha, professional bum?
Or a traveller. No, not the usual out-of-the-country ones. I can never afford it at that state. Besides, discover ones own land first above else. I had my own little travel con church hopping from Ilocos Norte to Ilocos Sur riding tricycles and crowded jeepneys and busses, traversing long roads and enduring the intense heat, and enjoying every sight of it. At that instant I knew I wanted to be one. The discovery of new things, lessons from little expeditions and the satisfaction of merely travelling alone bring shivers down my spine. I won't need my own car for that. Doing this adventure alone adds up to the fun! My next plan: up north to Cagayan. Hehe, this will be a tricky one.
I could be one frustrated keyboardist, or chef, or web designer, or traveller. Nevertheless, I have had a taste of each one. For now, I'll enjoy being... just me.
