Christianity is not a religion, it is not a system of rules and ethics. Christianity is pursuing a vital, powerful ,living relationship with God through JesusChrist.

my understanding of christianity may differ with yours. i have searched and studied, read many books on christianity. both in favour and against. so that gives me a fair picture of whole thing.
firstly, christianity is not founded or started by Jesus Christ. This is a Fact!
christianity is a product of the church. Paul was to be credited for laying the foundation this super structure called church.
later church leaders built upon where paul left and created all other things which christianity holds dear to their heart.
Jesus became a powerful inspiration for those who laid the foundation of early church. whether bible contains whatever jesus really preached or notis in the realm of speculation and there are many things that have creeped into bible which one cannot relate to jesus.

The Church that you are referring to was not started by Paul. Peter first started it with the Jews. Paul even took nine years of training before getting involved in the expansion of the way. And that is a fact as well. Jesus founded the Church, Peter and Paul led it to its expansion. We also have Barnabas and Timothy, Apollos, John Mark, Demas and the others who should be credited as well if we will look with human effort.
