Have you started Christmas shopping?

i am ashamed to say my answer to both of those questions is no.
with a 2 year old and a 3 year ol im ashamed as i should really be more prepared i can see it being another rush at the last minute again, im terrible for doing that.
I think i am going to start in a few weeks hopefully as i really dont want to leave it TOO late

Yep, I start the day after Christmas. I have a big tub in my basement that I put all the gifts that I buy all year long in. Around Nov 1, I will get the tub out and see what I have and then figure out who I still have to buy for. I know that I am finished with my neices and my nephew. That really only leaves my kids and my parents. Should be pretty easy this year.

I haven't started shopping yet but I have worked on my list. When I used to buy gifts from just me, I used to start early and do a lot of ptc and ptr sights and get lots of gift cards and money in my paypal. I would use this for Christmas. But, now my husband and I get the gifts from both of us together so I wait until closer to Thanksgiving to start shopping. Then we go together.

hi Mare, yes I have the list ready since mid August. I was on sick leave then and thought better start way too early than rush in December.
I have examined that list from last year and we decided together whom to take off that list as there are several people who dont even take the time to write a Christmas card once a year and keep in touch (seniors or really very busy people have a valid excuse though). Then I started buying some gifts over the Net as I have a herniated disc which makes shopping a pain right now.

I will be off for rehab and so now I should really do a little more about this list as I will not be at home for atleast three weeks or four and I dont want my cards and presents to be late.

The problem is, there are quite a number on our Christmas list where we dont yet know which presents to buy for them. Like my Mom in law. My husband is not so super helpful about that he leaves most of the thinking and organizing work on my shoulders

I do i like to do my shopping as early as possible because the closer to xmas it gets the more stressful it becomes i think

im planning to buy some for christmas gift tommorrow, for it is a midtnight sale here so i can save atleast 50 percent. It is good to but it early to avoid christmas ruch and traffic jam. Now i am working on my list. Thanks for this discussion.

I've brought gift wrap and I brought my Christmas cards last year. I haven't actually prepared a list yet. Christmas is one of my favorite time of year, a time of celebration and family gathering and we have 6 birthdays in December with mines on the 24th, Mother 23th and son 26th. We just pass the birthday cake on LOL. I think I will give away homemade items or food this year as gifts, but I still want gifts under the tree.

OMG Dude I so havent yet but I'm thinking about it over the next week or two....first I need to figure out a few other things though regarding Xmas but I think getting started soon is a good idea...
