my son is only 2 and already has way too many toys!! What do I do to get them weeded down to ones that he will play with the most. We have a shed and I have been thinking of taking half of the toys out to the shed and then every so often cycle them , take the toys in the house out to the shed and bring those in , so he would feel like he has all new toys. Maybe that will work..... ANY IDEAS????

A friend of mine has created a Christmas Box and at the start of December she gets the box out and gets her little boy to pick out a few of his toys to give to the kids who have no toys at all, and he gets very involved in putting toys in his Christmas box then the box is taken to some place to be given to kids who don't have much, noe her little daughter is getting to the age she will make her up a little box as well...something to think about and it gives them a little compassion as well..

What a great idea!! I do not know if my son is old enough to do this though.

my wife has this big bags with zipper. she has 3 bags of that. she puts our sons toys and rotates it. once she sees that our son is tired of playing that set of toys she puts it inside those big bags and rotate the toys. my son gets excited when he sees his toys that was kept for almost a month. he looks like he misses those toys so much that he plays with care and keeps it back after he finish playing with it. so i guess what you think is a good idea for it work out for my son.
