I used this since I was little and it has always worked for me.
My mom would sock a cotton ball in warm salt water and I would put
it directly on the tooth for about 15 minutes and it did help.
I hope you feel better and take care of that tooth soon. I know
how painful it can be. Get some pain relief and see a cheap dentist.
Its only a pain relief, because usually a bad tooth only get worse.
Only a dentist can really take care of your problem once and for all.
Good luck to you

When I was younger mom wuld put and asprin on the tooth that was hurting and I would have to let it disolve believe it or not this worked temperarily for me. But please make sure if the pain persist to go to a dentist to make sure you do not have an abcess or some kind of infection.

the obvious answer would be the dentist, but as for home remedies rinse your mouth with warm salt water. it kills a lot of the germs and bacteria in your mouth.
another thing you can do to numb the pain for a while is rinse your mouth with some vodka...definitly helps with the pain (but just a short term remedy)
