How do u create a homemade ant farm and how do u get a Queen Ant?

I'm not sure if you need a queen to have an ant farm unless you are planning to keep them long term and have them reproduce. I know the "kits" that you can order don't come with queen ants. But, I have seen people with queens in their farms. In my area, we often have maiden queens come out to breed before establishing a new colony. They're pretty easy to get at certain times of the year. They're the ones that have wings. You still need a drone to get her to reproduce, though. That's all I know about ants and ant farm.
