Have You Moved Recently? Did You Use a Moving Company?

The reason I haven't really been online lately is that I recently moved from Southern California to Northern California. I don't have internet installed in my apartment until Saturday and then it will be back online (right now I am buying internet at the local starbucks and only get a little time per day). I used a moving company to move, and the guys that unloaded my stuff--weren't very good. They thumped boxes on the concrete outside my apartment, didn't take everything upstairs like we asked and knocked over a bunch of boxes when unloaded them off the truck. I have found a few broken and lost items and am currently in contact with the company to get this issue resolve. Have you ever moved a long distance? Did you use a moving company? Who did you use and was it a good experience?
