I have four fishes in our aquarium which are almost seven (7) years old now. My husband and I had them when were just newly weds. I am so glad to see them big (over 1 foot) and still alive today despite having been in the verge of death for many times. When we transferred to our new house, some four years ago, we also brought them and we added more fishes and made a fishpond in our garden. I love fishes. Do you love fishes as pets?

I have been raising tropical fishes for over 55 years. Right now I only have 11 aquariums set up and running. These include one 55 gallon, one 50 gallon, one 29 gallon, for 20 gallon, three 10 gallon and one 2 & 1/2 gallon tank. I raise several different kinds of fresh water tropical fishes including angelfish and a few other kinds of cichlids. I am trying to get someone to help me move a 75 and a 40 gallon aquarium into my work room. I did have plans of building a fish room with about 100 aquariums in it but people kept putting things in the area that I had cleaned out and not there is no place to put these items so I will just have to work with the tanks that I can get upstairs. If the floors were sturdy enough I would set up the 150 gallon tank that I have but I am afraid that the floors would give away and it would go crashing through the floor. If I can find away to get more tanks in the house I will find them and fill those spaces with aquariums.

That is my reasoning behind the tanks, to raise and breed the fish so that I can make some money selling the young fish to stores and wholesalers. I also bring some into the aquarium clubs that I belong to and sell them at the auctions that they have. This way I make some and the aquarium club makes some on the deal too.

Wow, that's amazing. You're really a fish lover. Maybe it's better if you post the pictures of your fishes and aquarium in the internet. Are also selling your fishes? Maybe you should do.

My husband and I have a 45 gallon fish tank. We have had many tropical fish in it but most of them have come and gone. Our oldest fish is about 6 years old. He is a cory catfish. We also have an angel fish that is about 4 years old and also others. I really enjoy looking at them swim around.

Oh, I like angel fish but ours didn't lived long. I cannot put additional fishes in our aquarium because the 4 fishes there are already big.

We have tropical fish, but they are just the little mollies and tetras and sure don't live that long.
