Which Anti Virus you are using?

hi dio I use free.AVG 8 and love it, it does everything i want from an anti virus and does not slow it down one bit. also you can get AvG 8 anti spyware too but its not free.

Im using Kaspesky 7 now, its very efficient and easy to use. You don't need to update it manually as it will update itself every 3 hrs. This AV also light and doesnt consume much memory. You should give it a try seriously.

i used to have norton AV installed in my old system...i didnt have much problems with that on my system...then when i bought a new laptop i tried 'Avast AV' on it...it was a bad decision to do so...it dosent provide much protection against spywares,trojans and stuff...i had to format the whole system...then i went back to norton...norton works just fine...provides all the protection you need against viruses..u just have to keep updating it once in a while, thats all.....

I use norton antivirus but it lags up my computer so much, and it takes so long to scan. I once downloaded this little thing called "super antispyware" and it actually removed heaps of malware, and fast too. I am yet to step out of my confort zone and change my main antivirus from norton to something better.

Hi I'm using AVG 7.5 although AVG 8.0 is available and I have no problems with it. You can download a free version of AVG. I heard about another free anti virus Avast but try AVG first.

I am currently using the Free AVG anti-virus software from Grisoft.

I don't exactly love it a lot (especially this new version) but from what I researched, this is still the best free one out there.

So in this sense, well, beggars can't be choosers.

helo, i am currently using Avast Home (Free). its a very decent AV and has good protection. If u like a better ones, get NOD32 which is a good AV and it doesnt slowdown your pc. Too bad i cant afford to buy NOD32 so im using avast at the moment.

My recommendation is to get NOD32 if you can afford it, else get Avast.

Ive used Avast for years on my XP machines with great results.
Im using BitDefender on my lappie with Vista.
As commented on by others here, make sure your Firewall is properly configured.
Its often forgotten.

I am currently using the free edition of Avast Anti virus, dio. I have had no problems with it and it keeps me well protected. In the past I have also used AVG and Nortons. They each have their own good points. You can download either for free at www.cnet.com. .
