What's the longest You've ever read for?

Yeah, and I mean books xD
I know someone that read for 11 hours straight. He didnt even finish the book..
The longest for me was probably 5 hours, which isnt that much when you consider that so much people stay up till 3 in the morning.

The longest reading I have done is during my secondary school time. I was so obsessed with the science fiction, and continue reading over night. I do not recall how long it is, but I think at least 8 hours straight. It might be not long enough compared to the people that you mentioned. But it's the longest and craziest reading I have done during school time. After working, I seldom read, so it's impossible to break such record LoL.

Ya, I had been a sci-fi freak during school time. And there are series of thriller to follow. I do not have money to buy, so I rent it from a local book store. That's part of the reason why I need to finish the books as fast as possible. Because the books are returned earlier than the due date, I could enjoy additional discount. 
Besides, some stories are so intriguing and I couldn't help to continue stop reading.

I'm not the kind that read non stop for hours. This one time in Highschool i totally forgot to read a book over winter vacation so i finshed what was left in 6 or 7 hours.
