Anyone seen this british sitcom?   

If you like shows that are very non-pc this is for you, it's really funny humor around drinking and smoking and being a bad mother, but it's hilarious and a fun escape if you have a good sense of humor.

It's ok, its about a long suffering daughter with a terrible mother,the twow are complete opposites.~The mothers best friend hates the daughter as she thinks she is boring. I never cared for it that much but it was allright,all the episodes were basially the same.

One of my friends used to watch Absolutely Fabulous so she got a few of us to watch it with her. When I first saw it I thought it was nothing but stupid but I guess the show grew on me.

Do you like to watch major dysfunction and hear crass outlandish thing?
A daughter who is more of a mother
A mother and best friend drink and drug themselves into a stopper
The friend pretending to way more famous and glamorous they she really is.
A grandmother who is very much disliked by her own daughter but is loved by her granddaughter
Half siblings
Ex husbands
A clueless assistant
A new wife

I don't think I can compare it to any American actresses but when they make the series here (or try) in 2009 you might be able to do that for yourself. I was actually not happy to hear that they are going to try and make an American version. Some shows need to be left alone. They are what they are and trying to change the style messes up the whole concept.
