Have experience tooth ache it? What did you do?

Hey Mylotters! Have you experience having an intense painful tooth ache? Felt by the whole body. Damn... When I was a in high school I did experience that. There were times that I wasn't able to go to school because I cannot bear the pain. It almost made me cry. LOL. I intake pain relievers to ease the pain, but sometimes it is not enough. It only lasts for 4-5 hours and the pain comes back again. So, what I did next when the pain was gone I visited a dentist and have my tooth extracted.
How about you guys? Have you experience it too? What did you do?

i used to when I was little. I remember the trips to the dentist. My grandmother will accompany me and hold my head while the dentist do his stuff.
When I had my own kids,I did all my best and was succesful to prevent them from experiencing tooth aches because I remember it to be very very uncomfortable. I brought them to the dentist regularly. Their baby molars were covered with something to prevent cavities to develop. Eventually,the baby molars were pushed by the permanent ones. Just pushed actually. The front teeth just fell. Now they are 16 and 17,they have good teeth. A dentist asked my daughter when she had braces and when it was taken off. the dentist was surprised when we told her,she never had braces.Isnt that wonderful.but my son will be needing braces.he has crooked front teeth and a baby tooth is still stuck up because it wont fell off.They never had tooth ache at all.
