I saw on the news tonight that oj was found guilty of the hold up for that sports memorabilia-they say he's facing life.
December 5th is his sentencing date what do y'all think will he get a light sentence or is life justice?

I think I saw on the news he could get life in prison, personally I hope he does, I think he has a lot more to answer to than what he has been judged on..he is no loss to society...

I completely agree-I guess we'll see if the judge has any sympathy on him

He shouldn't have been found guilty of this crime, because he should have already been in jail for murder a long time ago.

Hey you said it-everyone knew he was guilty-hopefully celebrity status or money won't get him off the hook this time

I don't care how he goes to jail as long as he does. I believe he is guilty of murder and so do alot of other people.

that seems to be the popular opinion-I hope he gets life too bad the death penalty wouldn't apply

Well, Micheal Vick was convicted of dogfighting, cruelty to animals, torture and killing of multiple animals and he's done a little over a year and gets to go back to living his life when he gets out. OJ was arrested for "kidnapping and armed robbery", he was convicted of killing his ex-wife and her friend and will probably die in prison. To ask if it's a fair sentence makes no difference...he wasn't actually convicted on the crimes he was charged with. The DA, the jurors and even OJ's lawyer have all stated that "he finally got what he deserved" and at the time of his arrest the police were crowing about how they finally caught him and now he was going to prison for the murders (this was before he ever got to the police station). It's a sad day in our legal system when the system is used to seek vengence for what ppl think, believe or feel someone did. There's alot to be said for letting God pass the final judgement. I will say that I think OJ is guilty of one thing...being stupid enough to put himself in a situation where the courts could get hold of him.

What's ironic is it was 13 years to the day that he was acquitted for the murders of Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman. Just about everyone knows he's guilty. You would think he would have been grateful that he got off and turned his life around for the good.
He had to go and write that book practically mocking the families of Nicole and Ron and now this.
Regardless if his things were stolen or not, you don't take a bunch of thugs and a gun to get your possessions back. Obviously OJ isn't a man who thinks about consequences for his actions and I hope he goes to prison for life.
Judging from the judges attitude, I have a feeling he will have a lengthy sentence. Of course he will appeal so, I'm afraid we still won't have heard the end of OJ...

you said it-he has the money to pay for a good defense no matter how broke he says he is but even ol jc (johnny cochran) couldn't or wouldn't get him aquitted this time.

myLot reputation of 20/100. PrarieStyle (1161)   ranked 9,390 out of 32,950 in life  4 years ago

Lets hope anyway. It's strange that he never seems to run out of money even though he's supposed to be paying the Goldman family for the Civil suit.
The evidence is pretty strong this time. It's a shame he will probably tie up the courts for years with appeals.

yeah his family probably has money stashed away for him so he won't have to pay what he owes-maybe it'll take time-we'll see
