convincing the older sibling

My kids are aged 6 and 3. The elder one is very much self-disciplined and abides to whatever is taught. the problem is that in the verge of teaching my younger one to do things on his own, I compare him with my daughter. The same thing is followed by my daughter and asks me to help her in her activities just like I help her brotherthough she is capable of doing onher own. This is making me frustrated and unable to find a solution.what doyou say?
