What good book have you read lately?(new or old)

I've had a great year. Highlights:
. The Sheltering Sky
. As I Lay Dying
. The Stone Raft
. Brokeback Mountain(didn't love the rest of the collection)
Hmmmmmmmmm. Forgetting several. will come back and add more.(And say what I liked about them so much.)

I have just finished a stephen king book which I thought was really good. It was called Dreamcatcher, and although it was a bit hard to follow in places it was extremely funny and made me giggle all the way through it. I am currently reading a book by Jodi Picoult now called Second Glance, it was a bit hard to get into at first but now I can hardly bear to put it down.
