Where is our "Mr. October"?

The last I heard Cuban was the top bidder a 1.3 billon dollars. Maybe he can get them on sale after their performance, or lack of, in the playoffs!!
After failing to reach the World Series in 2003, I no longer get depressed over my Cubs woes in October. I just get mad at myself for falling into their trap of making me believe each year is the year.
While umping is always questionable when things aren't going our way, the Cubs more than helped out the Dodgers pitcher's when they swung at the crap that they threw up there and watched the good pitches to hit go right on by.
Who knows Trace...maybe next year.....

I know coming from a Dodger fan this may seem weird but I was hoping for a Cubs win. I was more sad for the Cubs than happy for the Dodgers.I thought you had all you needed to win it all.

According to Cubs management, Fukudome got tired from playing the longer season in America than he did in Japan and he is homesick. He got his only hit in the playoffs against a Japanese pitcher, so that prompted D*ck Stockton (who made way too many mistakes in his broadcasts of that series) to say he must feel "at home" against that pitcher from Japan.
Personally, the Cubs hitting coach should have worked harder with Kosuke. Most of the year he has had the tendency to start leaving the batter's box towards first base when he swings. He needs to stay in the box until he makes contact and then start running. He is a phenomenal defensive player. Has made some amazing catches all year long and has a very good arm. I think he will be more adjusted to MLB next year and will hit better, if he corrects the aforementioned swing.
Aramis Ramirez and Ryan Theriot were our MR. Clutch's all year. They choked in the playoffs, as did the rest of the team.

It sounds like Kosuke needs more training in the off-season to condition him properly for next year. He is wonderful.
There are so many other wonderful players on the team too though.
We cannot depend on one person to do it for us. We need the whole team to step up and consistently produce quality performances.
I have been a Cub fan all my life. If I listen to my mom, I jumped up in my crib at a year and half old and yelled, "Go Cubs!". I believe that I will continue to be a Cubs fan for the rest of my years, no matter how my boys perform. I will be happier if they do well, but will love them anyway if they don't.

Trace, you are a true fan. For better or worse, til death us do part. That's how I feel about the Mets and The Dodgers and now The Red Sox. To see them win is great but if they don't, I love them just the same.The Red Sox won it is time for the Cubs.That is my wish for all Cub fans.

I know one man doesn't make our team win, but we needed one Cub to spark them. You watched them all year, as have I. How many games were we down 4, 5 6 and even 9 runs and we came back and won? Whether it was Ramirez, Theriot, Lee, DeRosa, Edmonds, Soriano, Fontenot, Johnson, Fukudome or even Zambrano (power hitter in disguise), all it took was a spark from one of them and we started to roll. Our Cubbies need to bring that spark into October.
Ya know, I still wear my Cubs watch at work. Some people question as to why I still wear it, others say I am a loyal fan. I will be a Cub fan until the day I die, obviously win or lose! Besides, it's a very cute watch.
