Now it is homicide!  

I am sorry to hear about your loss. They should have stopped to help.

I am so sorry for your loss. I don't understand how someone can hit someone and just take off like that and never stop to see if that person needs any medical care. I hope this person gets caught and pays for his/her actions. I will say a special prayer for your son and your family.

Obviously, this was the Devil himself. I am so sorry for your loss, and I will continue to pray for you and your family. People that live in this society believe in the justice system to get them out of things. This monster could have had warrants for his arrest, or is an illegal alien, or just stole the car that hit your son. This is the same person that is selfish and was raised with immoral beliefs, probably because his family is the same way. In the justice system, 9 times out of 10 the longer you wait to tell on yourself, or fess up and turn yourself in, the easier the punishment. I believe that if you caught this person, I would hope that he has to suffer a long and PAINFUL, lonely punishment for what he did. I pray that you and your family find inner peace for the hurt that will be there forever. I also pray that the demon that did this horrible act, suffer an unholy punishment. God Be With You All!

So sorry to hear this Debs. My heart and prayers go out to all of your and his family and friends. What makes a person do something like that is beyond me and they can't say they didn't see him unless they were so drunk or doped up or maybe someone with no license or insurance and didn't want to get in trouble? Whoever it was and for whatever reason it did happen I hope they will be found or will come forward one day.

it was probably someone that shouldnt have been driving in the first place
either they didnt have a license, car was stolen, or they were drunk
whatever the case I hope they are caught and they pay for what the did

When I was in highschool, two friends of mine were walking down the road when they were ran over. Bioth died from their injuries. One on the spot. The other late rin a hospital. Come to find the man who hit them was so drunk that he thought he had hit two deer. The mans mother is the one who turned him in. I pray that they catch who did this to your son.

I am so sorry for the loss of your stepson and the grief you are going to endure. I cannot imagine the helpless feeling of not only losing a loved one, but not knowing all the details of the 'incident.' I only hope they get enough evidence to find the murderer. I would imagine alcohol or drugs could play a part, but hey, even drunk people can realize they hit someone. I just am so sorry.

I do not know what motivates people to do such vial and awful things. Whether it was intentional, or whether whoever hit him got scared and ran, either way it's a horrendous thing to do and not own up to.

I hope that whoever did this is found and pays dearly.

I am so sorry for your lose. The person who did this were so selfish they were only interested in saving their own skin. They are real cowards who could not face up to the trouble they would be in. Well when they are caught they will be in even more trouble now and I hope they get what they deserve. I shall be thinking of you and your family.
