are you self employed?Do you work from home/online?

Is anyone on here self employed or runs an online business of any kind? do you find taxes frustrating? Do you hire an accountant? Is it worth it? How do you handle receipts if you run an online business? What do you do as a business? Do you like being self employed? If so what do do you prefer about working from home or being self employed?

Hi 3cardmonte, I'm not self employed, I have a regular job as a programmer, but I hate to have a accountant to make the calculations of all my activities and to pay my taxes.. I really hate it.. if fact, it's been a while since the last time I've seen my accountant.. I don't want to know anything about accountants..

i am both employed and self employed,because while i am working here in my work as a full time worker i also have some business,it is a small business but once a small business become successful it will benefits me a lot by this.

I work from home but get paid by a local doctor and he takes the taxes out of my check. He trusts me with my hours and I get him the results he wants. I am grateful for the job. I think it will end soon and I will have to find something else I can do from home
