I do felt it sometimes that I am already a "Stranger" in my own Land/Country for there will be times that someone would ask me about the name of the Company and which place it is located I could not even give them a good response although I am aware that Kuwait is a very small Country and even to my wife in which she also lived in the Philippines i do ask here that if she knew every place in there Country but she told me NO first because they have a BIG place, second because they do not have enough money to spend for travel....///????????? What about you Guys, Do u felt the same way I have that you are a Stranger in your own Land/Country??????

Hello iyah10,
I don't feel that way if I don't know much about my mother land. As for me, if I need to sit for an exam to determine whether I know a lot about my hometown, I think I will fail the test. Sometime people ask me, for example whether I know a famous restaurant in my hometown and show them how to go there and I can't give the 100% correct answer.

Hello iyah. I have the same feeling. Even if I live in the same city that I am familiar with, it is not that easy for me to tell the name of each street, but only few of them. So I have to say that you are not alone there, buddy.

Hi my friend iyah. It is a good discussion. I feel this all the time but not in the same way as you do. I know my country well. It is a very big country but I have traveled to all the places. No. I feel this because the mentality. The way to think here isn't my way. I feel all the time that I belong to another place. Don't get me wrong I love my country and our culture too. It is a very rich culture. But I don't have the same mentality. It is a strange feeling that I don't belong here.
Have a nice day.
