Hello everyone! I've been curious if any one here has experienced falling in love over the internet. I know someone people who met their husbands through the internet. I say that they're very lucky to find a decent man over the internet, since they're scarce. Your thoughts?

I met my current partner now from the internet. LOL. We were in the same local forum when I met her. We talked there via PM and continue to chat. We're not in the dating site, so we didn't know about each other love relationship status, but we were friends back then. But something has changed by time. The closeness between us brought us together. We decided to meet, as a friend, and continued it. Love came long after the first meeting. We didn't know that such thing happened. But yeah.. it happened.

That's pretty cool that you've met your love through the internet. I've been thinking that the internet is a great place for those who do not have much time meeting other people. Also, the dilemma of physical attraction is lessened because of the internet, as you get to connect more with the other through talking and sharing what's in your head and less with the physical aspect.

Well, it was different. Of course it was different. Without seeing each other we got attracted to people only with the sharing of thoughts and because of we can't see each other face, we were only able to talk. In the internet, sharing thoughts were so much easier. Sending our fave music, lyrics, talking about movies and everything. We were never run out of idea. We can talk about anything. But yeah... that was then LOL

Wow, I guess I'm the naysayer. I think that it is definitely possible to fall in love with someone you met on the internet. I do not think you can fall in love with just the info you are given on the net. I don't believe that you can know someone just on the internet. Talk to them on the phone, maybe being able to confirm on other sites, personal info that can be confirmed. I think that a relationship can start on the net, but I think that you should have more info. I know it's a cliche but anyone can be anyone just on the net. My brother met his wife on the net, but they had also met several times in person while falling in love. My sister however, has met and thought she fell in love with someone on the net several times and got screwed every time, but yet she still keeps doing it. I think if you "fall in love" on the net you can feel loved without the responsibility. So I think that you have to meet them in person, talk to them on the phone as well as talking to them on the net.

Yes, certainly! I would say its possible to be in love with someone through the internet. Because communication and sharing each other thoughts and outlooks in life will develop a feeling. If you really want a decent man over the internet, don't go to yahoo chatrooms, because most men there are just wanting to play games to get rid of their boredom. There are lots of places over the internet if you want an interracial relationship that will lead to marriage. Of course it needs a lot of efforts! Good Luck!
