When we were in Bangkok airport= On our way home, we checked in our baggages. Airport security was stopping my husband after the xray. LOL, it was my fault. I purcahsed a set of spoons, forks and knives. I forgot to move them in check in baggage. I placed them in my husband's backpack.LOL. The knives, 6 of them, were confiscated. I was with my friends in Singapore airport. Going in to Singapore, security stopped me. A pointed object was spotted. They poured my hand bag. It was my tooth brush. I was so scared! I pleaded to them not to take my tooth brush...they didnt.LOL Going out of Singapore. My friend forgot his nail set was still in her bag. We found out, unlike my tooth brush, the nail set was serious. They took it and let her write her name on a log book and sign something. Seem simple, but really scary. How about you,you had similar experience?

Airport security is tight these days. Going out of Los Angeles I forgot my nail scissors were in my hand luggage so these were taken away from me. I had a terrible time when I arrived at the airport in Israel. Every traveler was having an interview in the line waiting to get over to check in. I was nervous because I wanted to get over and secure a window seat for my journey. I was so forgetful and couldn't list all the accommodation I had stayed it. They took me off to a room and did a detailed search of all my luggage. They found presents bought in the market of Jerusalem wrapped in newspaper. It was not to their liking and they asked if I knew people in Israel. I seemed different to the average tourist because I had been to the West Bank and to Jordan. Afterwards they realized I was just an innocent traveler and so they let me go. Luckily I just made my flight and I was so relieved to do so. Customs Officers are scary however innocent a traveler.
