I was born in Davao City, Philippines.
Davao is one of the most traveled tourist destinations in the Philippines.It is famous for its breathtaking scenic beauty and its warm Filipino hospitality. Sprawled amidst enchanting surroundings of the island of Mindanao, Davao is one of the most picturesque cities of the Philippines. The 'Orchard of the Philippines', Davao is also known for its exotic flowers and fruits such as durian, pineapples, bananas, pomelos, marang, and mangoes. It's the biggest cutflower producer in the country and a major exporter of tropical fruits. Davao offers a number of exciting destinations for the tourist to enjoy. A perfect place for beach lovers and adventure seekers, Davao offers an ideal destination for a relaxing beach holiday as well as an exciting range of mountain adventures.

Hi djoyce, thanks for sharing. I've been to Davao several times in the past. Indeed, a very clean, disciplined, and nice place. It can rival Makati and Ortigas Centre. I learned that it is the largest province in Asia if not the entire world. I used to visit a project at the University of Southern Mindanao in Kabacan, North Cotabato and Davao is my first stop. I have a friend there who happens to be the vice chancellor of UP Davao campus. I just hope the peace and order situation in Southern Mindanao will improve so that other areas will prosper like Davao.

I was born in Davao City. My city is known for the Mayor (Rodrigo Duterte), durians, pomelos and the Philippine Eagle.

I was born in Ceiba, Puerto Rico. I have no idea what it's famous for!!! My dad was in the Navy and stationed at the Navy base that used to be there, Roosevelt Roads.
