can you tell your best friend anything?

I have only a couple friends that I could talk to and tell them anything and know that they would not think differently of me or that they would one day throw it in my face or others about it.

Friends are supposed to be there for each other just like a partner to share things with each other....

Me and my best friend tell eachother everything. No matter how embarrassing or how much we're afraid other people might judge us, we can tell eachother. We have a really great relationship. I just recently moved 350 miles away from her but we still talk several times a week where we just unload all of our secrets and doubts to eachother.

Yes, I can. I can tell anyone anything, though. You know how some people tell the truth when they're drunk? I'm always like that. But I don't really tell other people's secrets. The only thing I won't discuss is my bowel movements- which, my mother does. Everyone knows about her constipation and gas. And everyone also is alerted when she went to the bathroom.

Hello jhl. I think that everyone still has some of the deep secrets that he is not willing to let his best friend know about for his own safety. And I think that it is better to have something special kept in the mind if you don't want to let it out unless you wish to. What do you say, buddy?

of course not even if he/she is your bestfriend. there's a saying that "don't trust anybody except yourself" and i do believe, im not saying you just keep it in yourself but make it to the point that what you say is something good which cannot hurt others you know...give yourself a little privacy also..it is nice to have friends and you can share yes.. but be careful always especially your words..maybe your friend is your enemy. happy posting!

to be frank even i don't tell everything to my best friends
this is because there is a saying that when you tell your problems to some people

few are ignorant
few just don't listen
few are careless
few are happy that you have a problem

so i haven't found a friend to whom i can share everything
but i tell everything to my mom and my dearest one viju

If he/she is your best friend and trusty, then their is nothing problem in sharing and telling with them. but at the same time, if they aren't, then it becomes a big issue between you two people. So be careful not in deciding whether to tell or not, but in deciding whether he/she is a best friend or not.....

There are things in my life that i dont share with my bestfriend. Not merely because i am afraid she will be dissapointed and upset but i dont want to share every secrets with her since she might share it with her mom or anybody she thought she can trust. And it might end up into a disaster which might end up our friendship. I dont wanna complicates things when i know that nothing good will come out if im going to share it with her. There are things i do share with her but there are also things i also keep to myself.

Well i thought i had a best friend before. I used to tell him all the cool stuff that nobody knew about and he also told me. But we also had you know the "Guy Talks" like some of the stuff we used to talk about was supposed to be strictly for guys. Well he told his SISTER this, which i dont care as long as i dont find out, BUT i did find out because his sister told MY SISTER!!! I was so pissed off. Im thinking to myself, what an idiot! I have not yet mentioned this to him yet because im saving it for when i really get pissed at him. I kept this discovery to my self for 4months now and i am ready to blow it up in his face when i find the perfect opportunity.

You bet. My best friend of eight years knows me inside out. I share everything with this friend. I do not worry about being judged at all. This friend listens and offers support when they can. Often times is just there to listen and let me rant. When I have an issue to deal with or just need someone to listen, this is the friend I turn to. It's an amazing feeling to have someone in your life like that. Everyone should be so lucky.
