I'm looking at getting married in the next year and am confused about IRAs. I wasn't until I read up on IRAs at about.com. LOL Basically we are looking at him working full time with me working seasonally and continuing with my online endeavors. We are looking at me taking at least two years off everything in the next 6 years. I looked at the income levels for the Roth IRA and it seems the best but then I got confused when the small print about married filing separately and married filing jointly. What I am confused about with both forms of IRAs is the if I am no longer working what my contribution amounts would be. So I figured I'd ask my fellow mylotters here under the questions & answers section. Help!
