I've learned a new malady today from the news and it's sad but I hope all of you that have homes are able to keep on top of things.
This is an extreme case in point for homeowners - 'foreclosure stress'.
Because times are hard at the moment and some owners are not able to pay the mortgage, some homes are taken away. The news zoomed in particular a local family who was not able to pay the price and so shot his wife and then himself.
Neighbors are sad about this of course and it seems the broader picture is numerous families around the states are in the same situation.
I haven't yet bought a home but from what I know, it's a great time only the taxes are high. How are you guys handling the economic shift and expenses in regard to your homes?
I hope that you take care and be well in this hard time.
Cheers!

I am lucky in that sense. Me and my husband built our house on a piece of property that we already owned and it took us close to ten years to finish it.
As bad as things have got we have always vowed to never take a mortgage out on our home and as of now we never have.
I just couldn't imagine the threat of losing my home. And a lot of people are finding themselves in that exact situation when thy never dreamed they would.
I can't imagine how stressful this would be on a family!
