Hi Anomalie, of course you have the opposite worry to us Brits, we've had no summer this year at all and rain like I've never known it, really has got us all down in this country, normally in the summer in the kids holidays we have loads of barbecues and neighbours getting together, I've been to one barbecue this year and that's been it because of our lousy weather,(came home with a split lip after that babercue but that's another story, I will tell you in an email..lol..it's quite funny ) but today I really wasn't pleased, it wasn't just a bit of rain it was enough to keep kids indoors and school will be the first to complain if children start having time off and then to top it all my son came home without his new school coat he said it went missing earlier in the day so now I know he was out playing without a coat..and then.. I know I haven't finished me rant yet but this is a positive or not I haven't quite worked out which yet, he said "But mum I've found my school jumper" like it made up for it...lol thank you for saving my discussion and answering, you are a star.

That's what I would like to know, I really wasn't pleased but it was raining and my son was upset enough over it so I decided not to go into school, I would leave it until tomorrow when I would be calmer but I realised when I got home that he is going on a school trip tomorrow so really does need his school coat because it's easier for teachers to spot their school kids if they are in full uniform. He was quite upset my son when we got home too he said it just went and he knew I would be angry, which I was but not at him with the school because they take no responsibility for kids property going missing and they should provide a safer place for children to store their belonging..oh Anomalie I could go on and on about my kids this week and school if it's not one it's the other I've had to deal with and things that have gone on within school. Thanks for caring I will get it back though or else I'm going to insist they incur the cost of it, I keep my end of the bargain I clearly label his uniform with his name.
