Hi all, some time ago I heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and everybody should take a time in the morning to have a breakfast. You should be more healthy, full of energy and so on. I was surprised when I find out, that main source of information for this proclaim about importance of breakfast came from the research which was done many ears ago. The sponsor of this research was producer of cornflakes. Yes as everybody knows cornflakes are ideal food for breakfast. So do you think this is coincidence? Or it is just another marketing trick how to force people to buy something? I would like to know what do you think about importance of breakfast for health? Do you have breakfast? And what is your opinion on the fact that the main sponsor of research which proclaim importance of breakfast is also producer of breakfast food? Looking forward for all opinions:)

Hey there! Every meal is important. Don't skip any of it. Breakfast is very important because you are starting your day. It's the most time that you use your full energy. In a company there is what we call research and development. I believe that's what the company, you are talking about, did so that they can come up with a product that people might need or want. Also, it is with the companies Philosophy of providing information to people. In that way the company and it's customers benefit from it. Happy posting!!

You are surely right, but there is a question, was the product made-up after the research or the research was the method how to increase sales? I believe cornflakes were invented much sooner. But I admit regular eating is very important for health but not sure if cornflakes are best think to eat in the morning especially with all that chemical flavors and all other usually not very natural stuff that makes the taste of it.

You said that the cornflakes producing company was the sponsor of the research and that research was done way back sometime. So, the research is the one conducted first and then the product. It could also be a way of improving their product. Cornflakes are healthy because it contains fiber, vitamins, and nutrition. But, not that too healthy because it has chemicals. The meal to eat is still fresh and organic foods.
