How to make firs impression?

It is generally known that the first impression is usually the most important when you meet somebody. According to first few minutes people usually create opinion about the person and approach to this person according to this impression. It is really difficult to change first impression. So what you all think, are these first minutes so important for the future relationship? Do you use any trick how to appeal to anybody? It is hard or easy for you to impress anybody?
