bad idea but fun...

I haven't seen these for a while but I used to get these phishing things pretending to come from AOL or whatever and when I clicked the link, it wasn't really AOL and it was asking for all kinds of information that you wouldn't want to give out. Now I decided this was a really bad idea but for the first couple that I got I actually filled them out with fake information like:
Name: You are a crook
Address: You aren't fooling me
City: I am not stupid
SSN: 111-11-1111
An online friend of mine got a scam e-mail, one of those Nigerian things, you know, I have your 5 million dollars. Send me $10,000 and I will send you your money. He actually got hold of the person and played around to see how much information he could get out of her before she figured out that he was on to her.
Bad ideas, dumb, silly, I know, but has anybody played around with a scammer like that?

These neer-do-wells are always hanging around my inbox and I have taken to ignoring their calls to my attention. It is good that you had a bit of fun with one of them but it would be better if they were to be caught and stopped. Cheers!!

NO I don't have time enough to waste on this losers. They are blood suckers who prey on innocent and gullible people. I just forward their emails to notify their ISP that they are fraudsters.

Not a bad idea although their e-mail addresses are usually fake.

No I haven't but I think that is pretty funny. Some people have more of a wit for that kind of thing.
