I am very proud of myself. I just voted for the first time in my life and it was very exciting. My vote will count and have an impact on society and the world as a whole. I could not pass up this opportunity. This election is too crucial to the future of America. I will not say which presidential candidate I chose, my friend's already know and I do not want this post to turn into a big debate. I just wanted everyone to know that I did indeed vote by mail, like I said I would.

Good for you! This year will also be my first time voting. I'm normally fairly interested in politics, but this year it just feels so different. There is a buzz with the candidates and it's interesting. I'm proud to be saying I will have an impact for the first time ever.

Wow, congratulations. I know you mentioned that you were going to vote in this election. I can't imagine not having voted my whole adult life. I've never missed an election.

You should be proud. Congratulations. Who you voted for isn't important to me as much as the fact that you simply chose to vote. Far too many people take this for granted or simply feel their vote doesn't count. It does. The only vote that doesn't count is the one that sits in your pocket on election day at home. I want to thank you.

woohoo you are truly an american now that you have voted. Why did you choose to vote via mail instead of going down to your polling place? We use to have to vote by absentee ballets because we did not have a prescient. Now I walk to our local prescient. Which is a few blocks away.

Rozie I am proud you voted. I have a friend who just got his citizenship in August and he will be voting for the first time next month. He is so proud to be a citizen or the USA. He came over here at the age of 14 as an illegal and has worked his way up to having two homes and a nice business. He is a hard worker and a good guy and deserved to be a citizen of the USA.

It's always a proud time the first time one votes. I remember the first time I voted too many years ago. I hope you continue to vote and continue to make a difference.

Congratulations! I remember how excited I was the first time I voted, and I had the supreme pleasure of taking my 18 year old daughter to the polls to vote in her first primary earlier this year. I hope your mother is as proud of you as I was of her.

I'm so sorry, Rozie. I'm sure that she would be very proud. Forgive me if my words brought you any sadness - it certainly wasn't my intent.

No, your words did not bring sadness. She's been gone for so long, that the memories I have of her seem more like a dream than reality. But I thank God for them none the less. She lived long enough for me to see just how incredible she really was.

I always vote, no mater what I have to do to get there. The last time I voted in a Canadian election, the polling station was far from my place, and I had to take a rather expensive cab ride to get there, and the guy I voted for STILL LOST, but I'm still glad that i went and used the opportunity to cast my vote.
