When you PC's warrantee is over, what do you do? Get an Annual Maintenence Contract or get your PC repaired on case to case basis? What are the advantages or disadvantages of both?

First, when warrany period is over we have to take care of our system. If it makes anuy problem, if its software, nothing to worry, We can clear it. If it is hardware related problem, if it is minor, i will try to clear it. IF the problem is more complicated then i will go to the service persons. I wont pay on contract since for that we have to pay a huge amount. Rather i will pay case to case. If we constntly go to one service person, then we may get reduction in service rate.

after the warranty period, i'll just get it repaired if ever it had problems.. if it software related, i'll do it myself.. if it is hardware and i can't fix it then i'll bring it to a technician.. i have a old acer and thank god i got no problem 'till to date.. i have a new desktop and a macbook, and i hope i'll not face problem also...

I would like to get my PC repaired on case to case basis! So that I wouldn't pay extra money in case that my PC is in good condition.
