which festival is your favourite festival one year?

I can't even begin to tell you how many festivals there are everyn year within a 30mile radius from where i live and i avoid ALL of them equally.

HI WANGKAI.. well my favorite festival is diwali.. One of the biggest festivals of Hindus, Deepawali or Diwali in India is celebrated with lots of enthusiasm and happiness. This festival is celebrated for five continuous days, with the third day being celebrated as the main Diwali or as 'Festival of Lights'. Fireworks are always associated with this festival. The day is celebrated with people lighting diyas, candles all around their house. Lakshmi Puja is performed in the evening to seek divine blessings of Goddess of Wealth. Diwali gifts are exchanged among all near and dear ones. keep posting.. take care and have fun..

Hi, My favourite festival would be Laxmi Puja. My mom cooks khichdi ( U can call it Fried rice ) and khid ( a kind of sweet dish ) with Tomato chutni and many other dishes . Apart from food we all spend that day together. We pray to Laxmi goddess for prosperity and good health. And we have laxmi puja this 14th. So iam very happy! . Cheers, Tutul
