why would anyone actually want to be a 'celebrity'these days?

the media hound celebrities,following thier every move,looking for scandal(and whiping it up when they can't find it).wrecking relationship,delving into every aspect of thier lives,phptographing them at every oppunity to show thier bad skin/cellulite/beer guts/baby fat... why would anyone want to submit themselves to that,,,,it can't be just the money can it? if were you,do you want to be one?
