I wanted three children and I got three. It was the ideal number for me. Now I have 4 grandchildren from my 3 kids. I belong too to a big family I have 8 siblings, and because of our large number sometimes we can't always come together as one. But it has its advantages too as we could do great things that reguired greater manpower.

there are really advantages for both. having many is great. but at the moment, it would not be. there is a lot of crisis nowadays. the US, well i hope i would get a good paying job to cater the needs of a great family.. hehe

I think I always wanted three. I think having an odd number is good because then you can have a majority decide. With only two they might each pick something different and then it might look like you are favoring one over the other. I came from a family with only two kids and I would have liked to have had more brothers or sisters. I think three would be a good number for me and that might be as many as I could handle.

well, three is more than enough this days. but if it's me, i would really go for five, but then it depends upon my wife and then the resources, of course...
