cat and dog discussions............

i found most of the discussions concerned with the pets that are the cats and the dogs and i really find difficult to answer those discussions. i dont have pets and i really dont want to have one as it requires more attention, increases workload, and extra work. i dont find time to mylot due to my regular housework and i need to look after my small son, upon that having pets is really difficult for me and i dont even like it.
what about you people do you like to have pets?
and are you all able to answer to those cat and dog, pet discussions?

If what you are seeing is cat and dog discussions and you are not interested in those, then don't choose that particular item as an interest.
Add interest areas that you are genuinely interested in, that's the idea behind the whole concept. Find the things you like to do and add those as interests. It makes no sense to add interests that you have nothing to do with.

Wait a minute, I'm looking at your profile and I don't know if you have somehow changed that or not, but you don't even have any interest areas showing.
If you really don't have any chose, you need to fix that!

pets dont come under my interest and let me tell you that i had been speaking about the general discussions and not under the topic of interest and i was mentioning that there are more of pets discussions which i find here most often.
i dont know how far are you able to respond to those and i dont know whether you are interested in pets or not.
and anyways thanks for the suggestion.

Do you have any interests chosen? My point is, if you don't have any interests specified, you don't really have a choice as to what you see.

I have the same problem with discussions about kids as i have never had any but i still can give my opinion and I still find the discussions interesting so i guess we all have our own interests but we can still put in some opinions..

ok now its clear. yes there are a few dicscussions where it is out of our interest and we cant respond to those like for me it is pets and for you kids. i dont even see the discussions concerned with pets like cats and dogs and i skip those and move on to other normal discussion where i have some idea to put into and write something but when concerned to pets i will really be not able to answer.

I like dogs. I adore dogs since when I was a young boy so I find it very easy to answer these type of guestions.

ok i think the discussion concerned to pets comes under you interest and you can respond to those but for me it is not so and morever i had no pets anytime in my life and i really dont have that experience of having pets and i hence dont respond to those discussions and just go to other topic of interest.
