WHEW! I feel like I've been gone for a week, and it was only last weekend. As some of you know, I walked 60 miles in 3 days last weekend raising money for Susan G Komen for the Cure. It took me a couple more days to recouperate and catch up with life than I had expected. But I'm back, and tonight after work I'm going to be posting about my wonderful experiences!

Susan G Komen for the Cure is a huge organization that raises money for B R E A S T Cancer research. There are many 3-Day walks all over the US for this.

I know that finding a cure to one type of cancer will open the door for the rest. I just hope they find something sooner rather than later...

Thanks for the info...All I can say is cancer is something we all have to concern ourselves with nowadays. Male or female, there are far to many free radicals in the world. Just stop eating things like monosudium glutamate sodium nitrate baking soda, canola oil and the likes this might be a cure but it is a step at prevention. happy health and thanks for the education! :)

Good for you!
I took a day off from myLot yesterday while I ran errands and set up a new little fish tank. Since I hadn't been here all day (which is extremely unusual for me), I just said to heck with it and let the whole day go and just watched TV (and the fish!) last night.

i thought what kind of catching you got there. that is remarkable of you, it surely would be an awesome and wonderful experience you have. i would be following your story here and would be glad hearing it. i always wanted to be part of this kind of activity but work has eaten up so much of the time and family responsibilities as well. i always admire people like you who have done something for a cause. one day, i'll be doing something like this. thanks for sharing your great story. i'll bookmark this so i could follow your story.

Hey reiny! Welcome back! I'm so glad that you made it back!
I was thinking about you all weekend! I was sitting here
in the early hours of the morning thinking about you while
you were probably walking and I just couldn't stop wondering
where you were and how you were doing. You were in my thoughts
and prayers constantly! I can't wait to hear all about it!
I knew that you would take awhile to recover, so I'm not
surprised. I'm just glad that you made it and now that you're
back here to tell the stories!
