I finally had my MRI approved and yes folks as my doctor expected it came back positive. She told me it looks as if I may need surgery, but she is sending me to a spine specialist which I go to on Wednesday.
The doc said with a protruding disc pinching a nerve and that I have already done lots of physical therapy with no change she really things surgery is in order, but she is sure they will try the shots first. She said my age does nto help me to think this is going to be successful. She did say that one time she thought surgery and the spinal cental was able to avoid it. So here I am hoping that I shall be the second person that would prove her wrong. lol
The thought of surgery scares the bajesus out of me, and trust me that will be the last resort. Living with back pain on a daily basis really takes the quality of life away for someone.
Have you had back surgery?

Thank you for your wishes...Pain be gone omg I would so love that. Back surgery can go many way it can improve it can make it worse or it can have no change, at least that is what my research has brougth up. So Wednesday will tell all and the doc will let me know what he thinks.

I have a bad back too but my problem isn't anything that will be operated on. I hope you keep us informed and I want to know you're OK.

I have never and hope not had a back surgery. I hope you will overcome this and I am sure many are praying for your safe recovery. Just do not worry too much and i saw some surgeries on the television shows and are successful. You can have a second opinion if you like to have a peace of mind that you are really doing the right thing. God bless you. ;)
