how and what is the process in giving download files from my site?

there are free downloads everywhere in the net, free movies,softwares,music,fonts,banners,templates,and other gadgets that are very good indeed for internet use...to tell you frankly i'm not good about programming but i have this niche that can make my site often visited, and i wonder how and what is the process so that files i will be creating will be available in mysite and can be downloaded freely by others...do you know something about this subject can you recommend something that will give me knowledge and idea about this subject?

I think you can download or buy the cd and uploads it into the site that provide a storage place. Then you can simply add the url into your website. I don't very clear what you mean. So I hope my answer can give you some help.

i've been wondering what software do these uploader and server are using in their business like ebook who they sell online and when someone do really buy this ebook from them then the buyer get the access to download the said ebook..do you have some idea about this? i am trying to make something like ebook or something whom i will sell online, but i dont know what software will i be using to run this kind of setup for this kind of business
