How to store pumpkin seeds for next year  

Pumpkin seeds, what a mess. You should remove as much of the pumpkin as possible. It could mold. Let them dry on a towel, paper towel, newspaper or a brown paper shopping bag. Once they are dry you should store them in a cool dark place.

Depending on where you live, it is possible to plant them now. Where I live I throw the pumpkins from Halloween onto the compost pile and pumpkin plants grow back. But it is too cold here to get fruit because the soil doesn't heat up soon enough to get a crop from volunteers.
