Would you do this in a divorce??

a couple in cambodia saw their wooden house into 2 as they terminated their 18year old marriage in a settlement. the wooden house was shared by them and the husband removed all the properties in his half of the house. the mam and his relatives armed with saws and cut the house literally into 2 as it was made of wood. he leave the half of the house standing while he tore down his own half of the house and remove his valuables. the man had suspected that his wife had an affair with another man which led to him filing a divorce. local officals tried to talk the man into not doing so but he refused and went ahead with the demolition of his house. i wonder would he does the same if the house was made of other materials. would you do such an act. i would choose not to do so and try to find other means to settle amicably. now the wife is left stranded without a complete home.
