Elevator workings - gears
Being in a wheelchair, I must use them. Its more interesting what goes on outside them, though. For example... I've never repush a lit up elevator button in my life, but am absolutely AMAZED by the dolts that come after me and push it, not once, not just twice, but SEVERAL times. AS IF! LOL! I want to jump up and down telling the congregation that amassed at the same elevator that it will NOT come any faster! Some look embarassed when they do it without thinking and look around at the others to see if they noticed. I want to laugh out loud when that happens! I've seen a doctor pound at a button, broke the plastic shield and inadvertently caused a shut down! Those poor people inside that elevator! I laughed out loud shaking my head, and turned to go to the back elevators. Meanwhile, all bells were ringing in that shaft and the doctor who broke it was completely flustered when security arrived. I wish I stayed to hear the excuse, but that dud made me late for an appointment.

I generally don't mind them, though I do think about what would happen if they were to break down. My only fear that I have with them is being alone with a strange man. I've always been told never to ride in an elevator alone with a man you don't know. If one gets on, then you get off. But, usually, I take the stairs.

I never used to mind them, but they really get me dizzy lately. i dunno why that happens or what in my body changed that made that happen, but i can say that i dont like it.
